The Douay-Rheims Bible is the largest project I have yet undertaken. I have recorded the entire Bible once before, in the form of a “Reading The Entire Bible In One Year” podcast, but since the Douay-Rheims is a Catholic Bible, there are 7 Deutero-Canonical books (called by some “The Apocrypha”) that add quite a lot more reading to the project.

My goal is to complete this project in just over one month! I’m not sure I can accomplish that, but I’ll be giving it everything I have!

I think I probably speak for each of us when I say that we’ve all learned something new from each one.

On June 1, we started the month off strong with Stephanie Blume, from Imperium 7.

Ilko Drozdosky directed on June 8. He’s the “D” in TGMD Talent Agency.

The third week, June 15, we got together, we were joined by Maureen Rose and her assistant, Kelly Edwards, of the Osbrink Agency.

Each of these agencies have been, more or less, “boutique” agencies. However, last week, June 22, we worked with Wes Gleason, of the William Morris Agency.

Larry Reiss from the Arlene Thorton Talent Agency is due up this coming Monday, June 29. I can’t wait to see what pearls of wisdom Mr. Reiss brings to the class!

MJ has done us a great service by bringing these folks in to show us how various directors work. We’ve gotten valuable experience, and are sure to grow as performers as a result!
