Steve Webb is the founder of InTouch Productions.
Media production is not new to Steve, who started in radio in 1979 as an account representative for Major Market Stations, Inc. in San Bernardino, California. He conceptualized campaigns, wrote copy, coordinated talent, voiced and produced many of the commercials he sold during his years with the company.
When Steve left Major Market Stations, he was General Sales Manager for their AM and FM properties.
He was quickly hired by a major multinational corporation for their Christian bookselling division. Steve rose to the position of General Manager, with direct responsiblity for three of their southern California outlets.
Steve has been an entrepreneur most of his adult life and has made ad buys in most media including internet, television, radio, newspaper, magazine and more.
Podcasting was a brand new medium in mid 2004, and Steve knew that this new form of communication would be a tremendous tool to reach a world wide audience. He jumped in with both feet, publishing the first episode of the “Lifespring!” podcast on November 13th, 2004, making it the very first Christian podcast not based on repurposed church sermons.
Steve has been called a “podcasting pioneer” by Podcasting News, was featured in the book “Tricks of the Podcasting Masters”, was awarded the 2006 Podcast Peers Award for “Best Spirituality/Religion Podcast”, and has been nominated three times for the People’s Choice Podcast Awards in the “Religion/Inspiration” category.
Although podcasting began with mostly audio shows, video soon took much of the spotlight, and Steve was right there to incorporate video into his bag o’tricks, producing many video podcasts and editing corporate videos for clients as diverse as technology firms to ministries.
